OUR HISTORY

Voedsel Network Uganda is a dedicated organization committed to fighting hunger, improving education, and empowering communities. Inspired by the firsthand experiences of Fosca Musirike, a social worker deeply engaged with marginalized groups, including children, grannies, and single mothers. Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions to food insecurity and educational barriers.

Many vulnerable individuals struggle to afford even one meal a day, leading to school dropouts, child labor, chronic illnesses, and environmental degradation. Voedsel Network Uganda was founded on the belief that no one should have to face hunger alone.

OUR VISION

We envision a hunger-free Uganda, where poverty is reduced, food surpluses are utilized, and communities work together for a sustainable future. By partnering with companies, institutions, municipalities, and individuals, we strive to eliminate food insecurity through temporary food support, while promoting education, environmental preservation, and long-term self-sufficiency

OUR MISION

Voedsel Network Uganda is a non-political, non-gender, and non-religious organization committed to fighting hunger and improving lives. We provide temporary food assistance to Uganda’s most vulnerable populations, ensuring that no one is left behind in their journey to stability and self-sufficiency. Through a network of dedicated staff and volunteers, we collect, distribute, and mobilize resources to support marginalized communities, schoolchildren, and individuals in crisis – empowering them with dignity and hope.
